General Assemblies of independent cultural actors and media
The crisis has given rise to a strong aspiration for an "after" that should not be like "before": this need for alternatives is widely supported and fed by independent cultural actors and media, close to the audience and concrete experiments. They form this plurality of networks and archipelagos, a multiple, committed and precious resource for writing our future.
This is why we take the initiative to organize, in a collegial and decentralized manner, in link and in open interaction with all the other initiatives going in this direction of the General Assemblies of independent cultural actors and media.
They wish to constitute the space for a common reflection on culture and independent media, their ways of doing, their interdependencies, the way of dealing with public authorities and ways of contracting with the private sector, cooperation and the new paradigms to be invented, in a logic of collective intelligence.
This platform is the digital complement to the meetings and workshops organized this summer across France. It is the unique place for consultation, proposals and discussing that will serve as the basis for the harmonization of proposals, appeals, demands and aspirations formulated during these General Assembleis. Democratic, horizontal and transparent, this platform is open to everyone.
